Storywear - Baina Side-Slit Wide-Leg Pants 百衲側開打褶闊腿褲
“Baina” (百衲) is a traditional patchwork technique that brings together different fabric pieces into a single garment. Historically, it symbolizes the gathering of blessings, protection, and good wishes from many families and communities.
This piece is crafted from recycled denim offcuts in varying shades of blue, patchworked together with retired bed linens from Hotel Royal Chiaohsi and given a new life through upcycling.
The buttoned hem design allows the silhouette to be adjusted between two styles: relaxed straight-leg pants or tapered pants.
