Each leather piece is by sheltered workshop artisans with disabilities, including people with physical disabilities, autism, Down syndrome and those in mental-health recovery. We assign tasks to each artisan’s strengths — autistic trainees handle precise hole-punching, while trainees with Down syndrome manage the delicate glue application.

Of the retail price, 15% goes directly to artisans as a reward, which is more than a typical workshop allowance by 3.67 times. Founder Yoma Ma has worked deeply in leather since 2014, formally transforming into a social enterprise in 2023.
