Storywear - 黑狗斜襟夾克 Black Dog Asymmetric Jacket

The design concept comes from the SS26 theme “Story of Taiwan — Sustainable Taiwanese Fashion.” The black dog is a native Taiwanese breed, growing up between the mountains and city alleys, accompanying Indigenous communities and everyday households. Alert, intelligent, loyal, and resilient, it develops a strong vitality despite limited resources, becoming a reflection of the daily life and spirit of Taiwanese people.

The entire jacket is made from recycled black denim and deadstock fabrics, carrying forward the zero-waste fashion philosophy. A diagonally cut decorative flap on the front outlines the side profile of the black dog, becoming the most striking visual element of this design, as if wearing this sense of protection and resilience on your body.

The “LOVE IS THE ANSWER” print on the chest serves as the key visual, echoing the spirit of this season’s runway show, on this diverse and ever-challenging island, love and kindness remain the answers that make Taiwan stronger.  Taiwan’s true DNA should be seen through the warmth of its land and its people, and this is where Taiwan Style begins.

The goods are all measured horizontally by hand, and there will be slight errors with the actual goods due to factors such as fabric elasticity and measurement starting and ending points. The error size ±3cm is within the acceptable range of international inspection standards and is not a defect.

12% of proceeds from this collection will be donated to the Taiwan SPCA and Faith for Animals to support animal welfare initiatives in Taiwan.

This craftsmanship has been showcased on the runways of Taipei, Tokyo, and London Fashion Weeks. Now, it is being used to give a voice to the often-overlooked black dog.
