Plastic Circularity - Recycling Workshop
Description
In this hands-on recycling workshop, you can learn about the impact of plastic and experience how to transform ocean plastic waste into everyday products, from spinners, coasters, combs, keychains, to Christmas ornaments, using small-scale recycling machines.
Fabrica X aims to raise public awareness of millions of tons of plastic waste hidden beneath the ocean surface and its impact on the environment and human health through our educational and informative content.
Workshop Rundown (45 mins) :
- Introduction to the plastic waste problems, effects and solutions
- Demonstration of plastic shredding
- Injection with different moulds (spinner, coaster, comb, keychain, and Christmas ornament)

Participants below the age of 12 must be accompanied by adults.

Advance bookings and walk-ins are accepted upon availability.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Cancellations made after reservation or no show will not receive any refund or transfer.
- A full refund (less the administration fee) will only be made if the event is cancelled by The Mills Fabrica or does not take place due to uncontrollable factors, e.g. Prevention and Control of Disease Ordinance, adverse weather.
- The Mills Fabrica reserves the right to reschedule the event due to uncontrollable factors, e.g. Prevention and Control of Disease Ordinance, adverse weather. Alternatively, a full refund (less the administration fee) can be made.
- In case of any disputes, the decision of The Mills Fabrica shall be final.
Special arrangement for bad weather
- If Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above, or Black Rainstorm Warning is in force from 9:00 am, all workshops that were previously arranged on the day will be cancelled and will be rescheduled or refunded.
